Last month, Maxon Fine Jewelry was fortunate enough to get to spend a few days in fabulous Las Vegas, specifically attending the JCK Show. JCK Las Vegas is the leading jewelry event in North America, open to all jewelry professionals and offering exclusive buying, networking, and educational opportunities that can’t be found elsewhere.
The show itself showcased many luxury brands, hosted several talks covering a variety of topics, and was instrumental in introducing Maxon to a couple new jewelry lines that will officially debut in our store this October. There is little we enjoy more than falling in love with amazing new pieces and designs.
Doves Fine Jewelry
The first is Doves, helmed by Doron Hakimian, the president and chief designer. Doves is a loving, graceful combination of Doron’s two passions—precious gemstones and architecture. Each piece begins with a sketchboard and a pencil, and in execution, will feature any number of combinations, including 18 karat gold, diamonds, and precious gems to create something wholly unique. Doves hosts a wide range of collections, including Equestrian (equine inspired symbols), London Blue (blue as the Union Jack), and Fibonacci, which is guided by the “Golden Ratio” principle with consistent proportions and geometric relationships.
Roberto Demeglio Luxury Bracelets
Our other discovery was the impeccable Roberto Demeglio, with his renowned line of luxury bracelets. Roberto dreamed of being a goldsmith or a restorer, and at an early age, set out to pursue both passions. The result is an exquisite line of bracelets that are not only stunning, but share many famous fans, including Alicia Keys and Oprah Winfrey. Roberto Demeglio likewise has numerous patents, including the Spring (which makes a jewel soft and flexible to make bracelets and even diamonds totally adaptable to a wrist), the Ball Bearing, the Multi-Measurement System, and the Golden Ceramic.
